About SolarVision

SolarVision covers solar power, energy storage, wind, geothermal energy and electric mobility, and the policy and trade around them. It is written in English for readers around the world.

Gaia

Gaia shows the energy picture of a country: installed solar, wind and storage, electricity demand, exchange rates, inflation and the latest news. Every figure comes from a named public source and shows the period it describes. We start with Türkiye, Germany and Spain and add more countries in waves.

How we work

New stories are published only after an editor has checked them against their sources, and every story names where its information comes from. Figures on country pages are fetched from their sources automatically; a large change waits for an editor's check before it appears. Our editorial policy explains this in more detail, and sources and methodology lists the datasets we use.

The archive

Stories published before the site was rebuilt in October 2026 are kept in our archive, at the same addresses, as they were published.
