Turkish engineering and technology company Kontrolmatik Teknoloji (KONTR) has announced securing a $34.9 million contract from the Iraq Ministry of Electricity for the supply of 132/33 kV mobile substations.
According to the company’s public disclosure on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the contract is set to enhance Iraq’s electricity infrastructure significantly. The project is expected to expand the country’s power capacity by nearly 1 GW, strengthening energy distribution and reliability across key regions.
