Sungrow Powers the Largest Rooftop PV Installation in the Nordic Region

Sungrow has announced its participation in the largest rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installation in the Nordic region. The project is located at the 175,000 square meter DSV logistics center in Landskrona, Sweden, where 24,000 solar panels cover 100,000 square meters. These panels will generate 14 MWdc of electricity, sufficient to power the entire facility, including one of the region’s largest cooling warehouses.

The installation utilizes Sungrow’s string inverters, specifically 34 units of the SG350HX three-phase string inverter and 20 units of the SG250HX. The SG350HX model offers a maximum output of 352 kW, supports high-power modules with currents up to 20A per string, features 16 Maximum Power Point Trackers (MPPTs), and boasts 99% efficiency. Additionally, the system includes grid support capabilities, real-time insulation monitoring, and meets IP66/C5 standards for environmental protection.

The project was installed by Brion and supplied by Krannich, a globally recognized supplier of renewable energy solutions. Fredrik Davidsson, Regional Manager South at Brion, expressed pride in completing the largest rooftop solar installation in the Nordic countries, highlighting the team’s commitment to providing smart and scalable energy solutions. Tobias Andersson, Key Account Manager at Krannich, emphasized the importance of first-class support for a project of this magnitude. Raphael Henkel, Sungrow’s Regional Manager for Sweden and Finland, noted that this milestone project aligns with Sungrow’s mission of delivering clean power for all.

This project sets a new benchmark for commercial solar initiatives in the Nordic region and exemplifies Sungrow’s technical leadership in renewable energy installations. It contributes to clients’ net-zero commitments and advances the global energy transition.
