The new flashlight circumvents this problem by employing sodium-ion chemistry, which ensures consistent power delivery even in severe cold. The battery is designed for longevity, promising up to 3,000 full charge cycles and the ability to recover fully after being completely drained and stored for extended periods.
The flashlight itself produces a powerful 2,500-lumen cool white beam with a color temperature between 6000K and 8000K. Its beam is adjustable, capable of shifting from a wide floodlight to a focused spotlight that can reach a distance of 240 meters (787 feet). Users can cycle through five different modes, including emergency strobe and SOS signals, which are managed through a simple interface that includes a power level display on the handle.
Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum alloy, the flashlight’s housing is rated IP44 for resistance against dust and water splashes, ensuring durability in harsh conditions.
