Solis Unveils Cutting-Edge Off-Grid Energy System in Myanmar

Solis, a global leader in renewable energy, has successfully deployed an advanced off-grid Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Myanmar. This milestone project reinforces Solis’ commitment to sustainable energy solutions and reducing dependence on traditional power sources.

A New Era of Energy Independence

The newly installed system operates entirely off-grid without requiring generator backup, offering an eco-friendly and efficient power solution for homes and businesses. Utilizing advanced technologies from Solis and PowerX, the system provides stable energy generation from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, even under challenging conditions.

Project Specifications

PV Capacity: 450 kWp

Inverter: Solis Hybrid 50kW x 6 (Total: 300 kW)

Battery Storage: PowerX ESS 280Ah (Total: 668 kWh)

Special Features: Smart ACDB (Changeover Switch & AC Output Supply) and AC-cooled Special Power House

A Sustainable and Cost-Effective Solution

This pioneering system is designed to minimize grid charging to near zero, eliminate generator dependence, and significantly lower environmental impact. The innovative Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) solution enables long-term energy savings, making it a transformative step for Myanmar’s renewable energy sector.

A Collaborative Success

Solis extended its gratitude to Mr. Hla Min Htet, Director of PowerX, for his leadership and expertise in bringing this vision to life. With its seamless integration of solar PV panels and battery storage, the system ensures an uninterrupted power supply, setting a new benchmark for sustainable energy independence in Myanmar.
